Medan Trip and Buddy

This is Buddy in Medan.. He is 4 months old now. Does he look like a pit bull mix? His Mummy likes to let him roam freely in the lorong behing his home. He receives many complaints from neighbours as he barks and people scare he may bite them. He likes to play bite with his Mummy and his Mummy lets him out of control... So Buddy please get some dog obedient training and be a good boy. Your Mummy has to be firmed with you so that you will grow up and become a good canine citizen..

We Are Still Tired ...Sleepy

Mummy stays home today packing as she is flying off this evening. Her mission is to teach dog obedience to the kampong (village) people (her relatives) and educate them regarding pet responsibilities. The kampong people bought a pit bull mix puppy (Buddy) hoping that the puppy will grow up and guard and protect their home. They did not read up or research on getting a suitable type of dog that suits their family. The puppy is giving them nightmares and they want to give him up.. even asking if my Mummy want to adopt the dog! The puppy destroyed his cage, tore newspapers, bitten the owners, difficult to housebreak... they are tired taking care of the dog, blah blah blah... Anyway, Mummy said she is going to give these kampong people a piece of her mind. So Mummy has packed up lots of chew toys, treats, puppy books to train Buddy and educate the kampong people not to give up on Buddy.
In the meantime, we are happy that Mummy is home with us today.. and we do what we love most.. sleeping. We are still tired from last weekend activities.

Out whole Day....All pooped

This morning we explored Serangoon North Pet Hub and were surrounded by all kinds of birds, rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, chinchillas, fishes and puppies. The place was so crowded and especially noisy were the birds. We were just walking from pet shop to pet shop.

In the afternoon we visited and played with Chewy the Shih Tzu (our cousin) at his home in Toa Payoh.

Later in the evening we walked to Urban Pooch for dinner. We played with more doggie friends and had yummy lamb-balls and German Shephard Pie. Chewy was a bad dog, barking fiercely at all the dogs there. Chewy's Mummy needs to bring him out to socialise more often and neuter him. On the way home, Chewy was so tired and refused to walk. He just sat on a park bench and waited for us at Toa Payoh Garden while we walked and enjoyed the park. The weather was nice and we had a great time. By the time we reached home, it was dark and Mummy gave us our second dinner. We were all pooped!

Sentosa Tanjong Beach - Nice Weather

Today the weather is very nice...not too hot and the sea water is warm. I am barking at Mummy to play fetch with me at the sea. After swimming, I roll on the sand to dry myself and I drink lots of water.

Friday Night is Cooking Chicken Time

Every weekend, Mummy slaves for Cookie and I. Seven boxes of boiled chikcken breast are frozen. While Mummy is cooking the chicken, we will stay close to her and waiting for some bits and pieces to drop down to the floor.

Mummy works from Home Today

Today Mummy works from home.. So we are at our best behaviour at home whole afternoon. The day is hot after a heavy rain in the morning. We are lazing around the front door pretending to be good watch dogs, protecting Mummy. Then I climb back to the bed to continue siesta while sucking my favorite kangaroo toy. I have sucked the kangaroo for six years... still like a puppy.

Meeting Do Do and Mo Mo

We walked the less-travelled road to meet Do Do and Mo Mo this morning. There was a railway track and an abandoned road.

Do Do and me checking out each other. Do Do just had a swim in the pool.

And this is Mo Mo. She is so active running around and Mummy was having a hard time capturing her still photo. She just came out from the swimming pool too.

After meeting Do Do and Mo Mo for a short while, we headed back as the dog cafe was not opened yet. Mummy and Buttercup were hungry already and we went for a bite.

I have climbed from the back of the van to the front. This is how I like it! I like to stick out my nose and let the wind blow. While Cookie continues sleeping... Don't worry, I won't jump out of the window. Buttercup is holding my harness.

Meet Odie, the Dapple Dachshund

From left Odie (dachshund), Cookie (JRT) and Mini (poodle). Odie likes to hump Cookie. Mini is very active as he is only 9 months old. Where am I? I am as usual next to Mummy. After smelling all the doggie friends, I like to go near Mummy....

This is Run Run (Shih Tzu), eating his lamb meat ball. Run Run doesn't play with other dogs, he just sits and watches the world goes by.

This is Odie, he was adopted by his Mummy and Daddy. He was abandoned, tied up at the lamp post near a church. He is a very good dog. He can come and stay with us when his Mummy and Daddy go for holidays.

Finally this is me, loving the lamb meat ball.

Cookie and I are best of friends.. we are always lying side by side.. Since I was born, I am always living with doggie friends. I came from a home breeder and brought home when I was 7 weeks old. I grew up with Cookie playing with me. I am never alone in the house. Mummy thinks it is not a good idea that I am always with a companion. I need to learn to become independent and stay at home alone sometimes. So in the morning Mummy will bring Cookie out for a short walk to train me to be alone for a while. I don't like to be alone.. Mummy is worried that I will never be independent alone...Well, let's hope that Cookie will outlive me..

Noah's Ark - The Dog Sanctuary

Tonight Mummy came home late, way passed our dinner time. Once she stepped into the house, I smelled her all over. I swear I can smell at least 500 different doggies on her. Mummy has gone to Noah's Ark, a natural animal sanctuary, a private animal shelter, located in Johore Bahru, Malaysia. It is truly a home and paradise to over 700 dogs, 400 cats, 6 horses and rabbits.

Chewed Birthday Card

Mummy came home and discovered that I have chewed up her birthday card. Yeah I don't feel sorry at all, because Mummy never punish me for all the mess I have done throughout these six years of my life. I have chewed up her CDs, music singles (pre-CD technology), sanitary pads, tissue papers, sweet potato plants, Thai triangles, toilet rolls, sofa, cushion, pants zipper, books, newspapers, dog carrier... I always get away with everything!
