Great Weather... Nice Photos

We were so lucky this morning.. the beach was empty... the weather was awesome.. the water was clear... great photos.

Sentosa Palawan Beach

Oh Wow, the weather is fantastic today at Sentosa! This time we conquered Palawan Beach instead of the usual Tanjong Beach. Today the beach was not as crowded, we have the whole stretch of beach all to ourselves. We walked the beach, swam, played fetch, and finally we rested at Coastes for breakfast.

Boiled egg shell powder for Calcium

Buttercup has painstakingly grinded the boiled egg shell into powder form for me and Cookie. This will be our new calcium source, instead of kangaroo bones. We have stopped chewing on ox tails because I cracked my molar. Mummy adds the powder into the instant oatmeals for us to eat.

Flea Market at Bishan Park

We went to the flea market at Bishan Park. The ACRES was there too.. and they told us about the newly opened wildlife rescue centre at Lim Chu Kang. The House of Rabbits was there too. We met Nicki and his son, the Shih Tzus, and Odie, the wired-hair dachshund. Cookie loves to play slide..

Newly renovated Macritchie Reservoir

We went to the newly renovated Macritchie Reservoir... It was very crowded, but plenty of parking lots, free! Hope the government does not start charging for parking as the reservoir becomes more popular, just like the Singapore Botanic Gardens. Parking at Botanic Gardens is no longer free as the Park is too popular. Although dogs are not allowed at the nature trails, there are plenty of places to walk around with dogs....

Meeting Old & New Friends

This is my new friend at Bishan Park. Her name is Hazel. She is a long hair tan dachshund. She is still a puppy.

That is Momo (black & white) my old friends of 3 years. Do you think she is a pure JRT? I thought she looks like a mix of JRT and Chi Wa wa... But the pet shop who sold her told her Papa she is a pure JRT.

Momo likes the smell of my ear.. Mummy uses diluted apple cider vinegar to clean the wax of my ears every week.

Here's Hazel... her pawrents said Hazel was getting more socialized now that she played in the dog run every saturday. When she first came to the dog run, her tail was stuck in between her legs. She was very scared.

After the dog run, we came home to shower. Our fur was washed off... lots of fur dropped...

Pasir Ris Park

After long walks at the beach, we ate breakfast at this dog-friendly place in Pasir Ris Park.

We met another doggie friends at the eating place.

Cookie and I were crazy about pony. We wanted to go near the pony.

We explored the Mangrove on the boardwalk. We heard some stray dogs barking inside..

I love Pasir Ris Park... It is bigger and cleaner than Bishan Park. It is also very quiet and not crowded. Many people camping along the beach. May be Mummy will bring us to camping as well..

Singapore National Day 9 Aug

Sunday 9 Aug was Singapore National Day. Singapore is 44 years old. Hey, I am almost the same age as Singapore in human years!

Mummy woke me up at dawn on Saturday and Sunday. We were packed into the van and drove to Changi Airport. I was wondering if dogs are allowed inside the airport? What if we stay in our carriers? Anyway, I didn't get to see the inside of the airport..

After Changi airport, we came to Pasir Ris Park.

Cookie slides down from the tallest slide in the park.

Cookie loves to rub herself in the sand.
