My home is renovated

Our home has just been renovated... new addition is the bi-fold doors separating the bedroom and living room. We have a new guest living with us. Cookie is getting along very well with our new guest. Looks like we have a new dog-sitter if Mummy and Buttercup decide to go travelling.
Mummy went to Sentosa without us, as she wants to check out the Hard Rock Cafe. She found a peacock wandering around the beach.

A Secluded path...

We realised a secluded path.... walking with Jack and Joey this morning.. It was a secluded place and we met a few unleashed dogs with owners.. J & J were also unleashed..
I don't know why, but Cookie was too tired to walk.. so Mummy carried her for a while..

Mini Tower fan for doggies

As 'summer' is approaching.. and the weather is getting hotter especially during the day time when we are home.. Mummy bought us a mini tower fan that blows at our level.. The traditional fans are too high above the ground level.. and we are on four short legs at the ground level all day.
So during the day time, the fan is on whole day for us.
Mummy doesn't like the traditional fan because she has fear that our tails get caught in the circulating blades... ouch, that will be disaster, especially when no one is at home supervising.

Botanic Gardens on Vesak Day

Surprisingly today Mummy decided to bring us to Botanic Gardens for a gathering with Odie, dodo, momo, fluffy and the others from Singapore North group... The last time we came to Botanic Gardens was last year July. Time flies isn't it.. The weather was excellent.. sunny but not too hot. We ate the delicious and vey pretty cup cake.
As today is a public holiday, it was very crowded.. I think Buttercup and Cookie did not enjoy the walking too much...

But Cookie seems like not so keen anymore.. she takes longer time to chew the deer tendon.. and sometimes when she is not looking, I will steal her unfinished deer tendon.. ha ha ha...

Meeting up with Jack and Joey

We finally went to K9 today with Jack and Joey. We have not been to K9 for one year already. The blue paint on the flooring has faded inside the K9 cafe. They have added a new salt-water swimming pool outside. Joey turns out to be very greedy.... and eats damn fast

Qin Dynasty Army Terra-Cotta

Buttercup was in Xi-an China this week. She visited Qin Dynasty Army Terra-Cotta.
The construction of Emperor Qin's Mausoleum lasted nearly 40 years. Emperor Qin died in 210 BC while on the fifth tour of his empire. He devoted his whole life to search for the elixir of immortality. He never imagined that he would leave this world at the young age of 50. The tomb was not complete when his body was buried within it. According to a decree of the Second Emperor, thos of his father's ladies who has no children were ordered to follow the emperor to the grave. Many of the tom builders were also buried alive. Thousands of officials were killed and thousands of craftsmen were buried alive in order to keep the tomb secret.
Emperor Qin believed that life under the ground after death was a continuation of life on earth. Therefore he constructed a huge mausoleum for himself.
