Remember Chili, the Mata Puteh bird Mummy adopted in Nov last year? Well.. she is singing now in the morning and evening.. But don't know what is happening, her tail feathers all dropped off.. BOTAK liow.. Jia lat..
Her left wing has not grown out yet.. Don't know if her left wing is permanently missing?
She is still eating and drinking and actively jumping around in the cage.. Mummy will continue to observe her progress..
I won in two competitions at today's Woof Dog Lunch at Hotel Charity event. First I won the waggiest wag tail competition. Second I won the sit/stay the longest period, even with squeeky toy distraction!
My doggie lunch box is made of pasta, tuna fish, carrots and potatoes.
We are at the 28/29th floor at Klapson Hotel.
I sit guai guai on the floor next to Mummy while she is having her buffet.
Mummy says this is the best photo she has taken of me. She loves it how my eyes are closed.. We were at Mandai Training Village this morning for Search & Rescue training.
These are Bear-Bear and Bruno.. I met them last year.
"Search"....
Bark.. bark....bark.....
There is a plan for new recruitment for the new program. The new search training is basically known as Fire Investigation Dog training (FI Dog) whereby we trained your dogs to pick up unburn/residue accelerants (petrol, thinner, diesel, turpentine etc) in a fire scene. This will enable you to response to a suspected fire scene with your trained dog to assist in fire investigation which is part of the main idea for this program.
Please let me know if you doggies are interested! So exciting !
Aren't these beautiful photo shoot of ME? Mummy brought along a professional photographer friend to our outing at NEX dog run and dog cafe. I am black beauty! Look at ME.. look at ME... ME ME ME... Happy New Year 2011 !
Mummy found an abandoned kitten at our block this evening on New Year's eve. She looks like one month old. She was meow meowing and approaching Mummy.. Mummy went to talk to the cat feeder auntie at our block about the kitten, the auntie said nothing can be done about it, someone has abandoned the kitten.. Mummy was so upset.
As the New Year 2011 is approaching, we pray that there will be less suffering for the animals, and less pets abandonment in the world.
Nowadays we are using 'Y' leash when Mummy brings us out to play and walking. We learn to pee and poo by cooperating with one another.
Boxing day we went to Bark Angel for dachies gathering.. we met long time doggie friends dodo and momo, and the latest addition, fifi.
Inside the dog cafe was full house.. so we sat alfresco with peppy.. peppy has to be outside because she was terrified of doggies. Peppy is ok with us because we don't bother her and we don't sniff her butt.

We went to Punggol Park for a walk. There is a Bliss Cafe which opens only in the evening. The park is nice to walk. It is smaller than the Bedok Reservoir. For free parking we have to be there before 9am.
Mummy enjoys early Sunday morning to bring us to Bishan new dog run when there are no one in the dog run. We can play fetch ball and roam around the whole park, investigating the place.
The mata puteh/silver eye bird is named Chilli. She got a new bigger cage today so that she can exercise her wings. Her left wing feathers were cut off by the man who abandoned her. Hopefully her wings will grow back eventually. This morning she got a shower. Cookie and I are very interested in Chilli. Mummy put the new cage on top of the washing machine, making sure we can not disturb her.
This morning we went to the bigger area of dog run.. there are two areas, one smaller one, and this one bigger one. Not bad... I have great time fetching ball and barking and demanding Mummy to play with me. Along the walking path there are lamp posts... so nice!
