Demanding to sit on Mummy's lap

I would paw and paw at Mummy to carry me onto her lap while she works. I am very demanding.

Every Sunday we would sit at the bench in front of the dog run watching the dogs play. Mummy prefers to exercise us by walking the whole of Bishan Park instead of letting us run in the dog run.

Lorong Halus Wet Land

Today we explore Lorong Halus Wet Land... the day is cooling and windy, the sun is weak...What a great morning for a walk! May be we can come here again during the weekday morning.

Serangoon Reservoir Park Connector

For the first time we finally visited Serangoon Reservoir Park Connector for a morning walk. It is a really long long walk if you keep going.. Today we walked to the right.. I don't know when will we come again, as we are moving to the further North very soon. Once up in the North, we have many walking paths.. We can walk to the Park, the reservoir, the park connector..

ASD Tea Party

This is the second time this year I went to Hotel for dog party.. this time is organized by ASD Tea Party. We went up to 17th floor alfresco area.

I met Jack and Joey there..

I met new friends too..

The food was macaroni, meat and cheese... I finished the whole bowl all by myself.

The ASD Tea Party was a success with full house of people and doggies.. This time I didn't win the waggiest tail dog, because while I was showing off wagging my tail, some stupid dog came to smell my butt, and I stopped wagging tail.. and Ricky Yeo disqualified me..

Bishan Park on Sundays

The new dog runs at Bishan Park attract many people and dogs every weekend. It can be quite crowded.

We saw two stray dogs at the top of the hill, one female just given birth. We quickly get out of there as Mummy has fear of stray dogs protecting their territories. We have stopped going to AMK West Garden because two years ago there were 4 stray dogs chasing and barking at us protecting their territory. Now the National Parks say the stray population has increased to 20.

I Quit eating my own Poo

I begun eating poo when I was a puppy because my human breeder fed me and other adults dogs together. I didn't get enough to eat. I was hungry. For the past eight years, my Mummy has tried every method to make me stop eating my own poo.. I also eaten Cookie's poo. My Mummy thought by feeding me papaya, pineapple, i will stop. But I continue to eat my poo. At night when the humans are sleeping, I will poo secretly and eat my poo, and later I will lick the humans in the face. That was all in the past.

Today, I QUIT EATING POO SUCCESSFULLY. My Mummy can trust me 100% now. I am CLEAN! Even when Mummy goes out, I don't eat poo anymore. Mummy is full of joy when she comes home to see poos everywhere on the newspapers. In the past, I will eat the poo when Mummy went out.

So how did I quit eating poo? For 6 months, Mummy stay home and work from home. In order to stop me from pooing at home, Mummy bring me out to poo. So I got no chance to eat poo. Everytime Mummy come home, she will give me treats to eat. After a while I get it. Even if Mummy is not home, after I poo I don't eat my poo. Because I know Mummy is giving me yummy treats soon. When Cookie is pooing, Mummy separate me from her. So I don't have chance to eat Cookie's poo as well.

This has been a tough, long and winding road..

After about 2 years or less of building, the Village at Serangoon Gardens is opened! We have no chance to visit yet. The outdoor seating here "may be" or "may be not" dog friendly. Mummy saw a dog here. But when Mummy asked the waitress in the Japanese Restaurant next to it, she said "no dogs" allowed in the outdoor seating. The Coffee Bean also replied "no dogs" in the outdoor seating. We may never get the chance to sit here with Mummy... As we are preparing to move out of current home to further north. We have lived here with Mummy for 10 years. But coming August we are going to move up north. Mummy promises the home to be bigger, with more greeneries and reservoirs surrounding us..and may be we can sleep in air-conditioning room at night.

Saturday Dachie Gathering at K9 Turf Club Road

Every weekend Sat and Sun we get to ride in the van to go out play.. Nowadays we no longer ride at the back of the van. We are always next to Mummy during the ride.. and I like to stand on my hind feet looking out the window..Eerrr.. I think Mummy is not so happy about it as she thinks it's too dangerous.

Today we went to K9 at Turf Club Road.. I think it's been almost a year since the last time we came. More dogs now at the boarding area. Today there are about 20 dachies gathering. We are going to meet every month now.

New AMK HDB flats ready for occupancy

The newly built AMK HDB flats are ready for occupancy.. I was here when it started building at ground zero.. time flies.. I am 8 years old now. Lots of changes happening in Bishan Park. Every Sunday we will sit in front of the dog run and watch my doggie friends play. The dog run is becoming so popular nowadays, always jam packed. We don't go in and play with my friends, we just sit outside and watch.

Retired from Search & Rescue Training

Today I decided to retire from Search & Rescue Training at MTV (Mandai Training Village). The officer led me to dark room...I was very scared to move forward. I couldn't jump over the partition blocking the door.. and there was nets where my paws got tangled and stuck.. After this experience my Mummy decided I don't enjoy Search & Rescue Training anymore. Actually I just want to play fetch with my ball. The Search & Rescue Training is too dangerous for me. My Mummy just want me to enjoy my life.. playing fetch ball.. swimming in the sea.. walking in the parks.. I am afterall, a Princess.

Bishan Park II Re-opens

After long wait... Bishan Park II reopens.. Hurray.. There is 24 hours Macdonald Cafe.. and a river where I can play water.. Where no busy body telling me dogs are dirty and can not play in the river... The new grasses are sweet and soft... The view of the new condominium Clover is spectacular.

Found Female JRT at Yishun

Found a good temperament female JRT at Yishun Street 61, last night 19 Apr 2011 (Tues). Happy ending... Nemo is 9 years old, and has been reunited with owner..

Growth under Billie's Cheek

A few days ago it was just a tiny growth.. now it looks quite raw.. Mummy found a growth under my left cheek.. it doesn't look like my normal pimples.. Mummy trimmed the fur around it, used alcohol swap to clean up the growth and applied antiseptic cream. Will observe it for a few days.. if the growth doesn't subside, I need to see Dr Cathy Chan.
