Helped a lost Sheltie found her owner
Last night at 10pm while on the road, Buttercup and Mummy saw a lost Sheltie running in front of a fast moving lorry. Buttercup quickly hopped out of the car and chased after the Sheltie. Another gentleman, most probably another dog lover, also helped Buttercup to catch the Sheltie. The Sheltie ran all over the neighbourhood crossing roads full of traffic. It was so dangerous! Mummy went home to get me, an extra leash, collar and some water for the Sheltie. I knew I was on a mission and I was very focus. I ran and chased after the Sheltie while dragging my Mummy along. I was barking and calling the Sheltie to stop running. The Sheltie appeared very frightened! She was running away from us. Mummy was too tired and couldn't run fast enough and lost sight of the Sheltie.
After one hour of chasing the Sheltie ran into the lift. Finally Buttercup was able to put on a collar and leashed her. Buttercup asked around and found out that the dog looks familiar and live in the neighbourhood. Then Buttercup and Sheltie went from floor to floor looking for her owner. Finally the Sheltie led Buttercup in front of a door at 7th floor. Buttercup knocked and an Indian guy answered the door. YES! The Sheltie does belong to the family. They thanked Buttercup for bringing their dog back. They said that they didn't know that the dog sneaked out. They thought she was sleeping in the room. What an eventful night for all of us.
