Ricky from ASD on the Channel 8 News tonight at the AVA Roadshow at Singapore EXPO.
I am at the AVA Roadshow today.. Mummy thought I should get microchipped for only $20, but the queue is so long. So the mission is abandoned. I will be wearing my collar tag.
This is the first time I attending the AVA Roadshow. The event is very enjoyable.
Because of the dog event, the alfresco seating are OK to eat with doggies. So good. I think we like Singapore Expo very much.
This evening Mummy found a man abandoning a Mata Puteh (Silver Eye) at the block where we are staying. The man left the bird and the cage in the middle of the grass told Mummy he didn't want the bird anymore. The man also tried to get some money from Mummy, and Mummy was so angry! No way my Mummy is giving the man any money! He can be reported to AVA for abandoning animals and fined (or jailed).
Mummy cleaned up the cage, cleared the left over dried food with creatures crawling. Give the bird fresh water and fruit. Mummy noticed the right wings are missing.. and there are grey baby furs on its body, so probably it is still a baby. So poor thing. It is a very scared bird.. At first Mummy thought to bring the bird to SPCA/Jurong Bird Park.. or give it to one of the men that gather every Sunday to listen to birds singing...or there is an aviary near our home.. but after seeing the baby bird sorry state, Mummy decides to keep the bird. It is so dirty.. so Mummy places a water bowl for it to bath in the morning.
