Year Ending in 2011

Chilli, the mata puteh, has passed on this year...

December is raining season... I am hibernating at home most of the time.. Major changes this year are moving to new home, Mummy working from home, I stopped eating my poo, we no longer live with Buttercup, have a new housemate, I have gained some weight, less active, sleeping a lot more.. getting older..retired from search & rescue, better diet and developed fuller fur...


I have developed fuller fur.. chest bald spot is smaller in size..

Fried salmon for dinner during festive season..

Cookie is now 12+ years old.... she is less active.. walks slower, less muscle, sleeps a lot, her urine leakage is under control, drinks more water as requested by Mummy, hasn't bitten anyone for more than a year, mellowed, less barky, more obedient, well behaved, generally a better dog...

My foot healed after 1 week

My foot has healed after one week.. although it is still reddish.. The reason why I hurt my foot is because it is balding.. the fur is just not growing there..

Loving...

Mummy has been cooking green bean soup with slice ginger for me and Cookie.. to boost our immune system..

Bottle Tree Park

Continue to explore the North.. found a nice and quiet Yishun Neighbourhood Park.. with ample of shades..

Injured foot pad

I don't remember how I get this injured paw pad.... Mummy cleans it up with alcohol and put some anti-septic cream on it.

The new dog run sign board.

Bishan Park is almost completed.. It will be fully opened end of 2011.


After meeting some stray dogs in Yishun Park, Mummy decided we are going back to Bishan Park from now on. Bishan Park is still the best for dog walking. It is big enough for a two-hour walk.. wide path-way.. good for dog-watching.. ample parking space... only 10 km away from our home.

SPCA World Animal Day 2011

We went to east coast park to join the SPCA World Animal Day event..

While Mummy was driving.. this cute duo was next to Mummy at east coast..

Admiralty Park and Republic Polytechnic

There is a SAKURA restaurant at the West Entrance of the Admiralty Park.



Admiralty Park is very secluded.. we hardly see anyone.. We walked from North Entrance to Republic Polytechnic.. The path is gravel.. I think we prefer Bishan Park.

Happy Birthday Cookie is Twelve

Mummy stir fry beef, adding snow peas and white radish with wolfberry for Cookie's birthday dinner. Today Cookie is twelve years old. Mummy adopted Cookie on 31 Aug 2001 from SPCA when Cookie was two years old then.


I like to sleep on the sofa pillow... while cookie likes to be under the coffee table dog crate.

Exploring Yishun Park and KTPH

Today is Singapore National Day and it's a holiday.. we explore Yishun Park... Yishun Pond.. Khoo Teck Puat Hospital.. We love the North! Think Mummy makes the right decision to move here. Yishun Park is secluded and quiet.. Mummy had bad experience at AMK West Garden where 4 stray dogs confronted us on our walks.. Mummy is a bit hesitant to complete the whole Yishun Park as fear of stray dogs protecting territory.

Exploring North of Singapore

We walked from new home to reservoir.. We are beginning to explore the new areas in our new home.. I think we love it here!

Cookie is so tired after the whole day of moving.. She is a nervous wreck.. But I am a cool dog and adjust better to the new home..

Mummy plays fetch with us in the new home to make us feel welcome home.
