Mummy came home from work and found Cookie munching on long black string coming out of the red dog house. Mummy quickly pulled out the string from Cookie's mouth. After about 1 meter of string came out from Cookie's throat, it got stuck in Cookie's mouth. Mummy managed to break free at the end of the string. And Cookie coughed out a few times.The next day in the evening, after meal Cookie went to poo. A long string came out of her anus and was stuck half-way. Mummy helped her to pull out the string. In order for Cookie to relax so that the string can come out, Buttercup helped to soothe Cookie while Mummy slowly pulled the string out. About 1 meter of the string finally came out together with the poo! It was not a pretty sight.

wow - good thing the string didn't wrap itself around any parts of the intestine! I've seen those cases come in and boy - are they ever messy! Big surgery ... Glad Cookie is ok.
OMG...that is scary! At least it came out already so it's not so bad. I'll keep in mind to avoid the strings like the plague next time...=)

DROH had our Halloweiner Party last weekend. I was a ballerna. There was over 65 dachsies there. Come over and see some of the really cute costumes.
