Coconut at the beach...
Buttercup picked up a coconut at the beach. She threw it against the rocks. It broke up, coconut juice was splashing out. Buttercup gave me the coconut with some juice to drink. It tasted funny, like an old coconut, and rancid! Mummy was worried that the coconut might be spoiled, and full of bacteria. But my stomach was very strong. After drinking the rancid juice, my stomach was doing fine. I didn't have any diarrhea.

My new toys !!
I love my new toy! It has knots which I like to untie them, and has a chewy middle part. I also like to play fetch with my new toy!
Cookie's new toy has four very tough balls. One of the ball makes squeeky sound. Cookie is such an aggressive chewer, she kills the squeeky ball!
We love our new toys. Every month Mummy will get us new toys!
Cookie is so tired after chewing at the balls for half-an-hour!
These are all my toys! Mummy likes to rotate our toys so that we don't get bored.

Oxtail...
Today mummy gives me an oxtail to chew. Mummy can not stand the raw and bloody oxtail, even though I should be eating it raw, she boils it instantaneously. I am such a good chewer that I finish the oxtail in ten minutes. Mummy can't believe it, she thinks I hide it under the blanket! As Cookie is allergy to beef, she gets to eat kangaroo backbone.

Weekend weather was good...
Last Saturday morning mummy and buttercup brought us to Bishan Park for walkie walkie. As the farm in Bishan Park was being renovated, buttercup managed to take a bundle of pandan plants home with us. The pandan plants are to deter cockroaches from coming into our home. On Sunday, the weather was sunny, and we all went to sentosa Tanjong Beach. Later we have lunch at the newly renovated hawker food at Pahlawan Beach.

Mummy is sick
Mummy has been sicked for a week now. She is always lying in bed. So Cookie and I also lie in bed together with her. With the heavy rain, it's so nice to cuddle up. Cookie sleeps so deeply that she leaks urine on the bed! Mummy is so grumpy when she has to carry Cookie to pee on the newspapers, and cleans the soiled bed sheet. Cookie has been leaking a lot of urine while sleeping.

Nail splitting
Recently one of my nail is splitting. It was not painful to me, but Mummy finds it disgusting to see. I have been pulling on my harness when walking down the block as I want to chase after the cats all the time. I think that's how I got my nail splitted. I like to gallop away, scratching my nails on the rough ground.

Evening walks
For the longest time, Mummy has stopped walking us during evening after she came back from work. It must be all the good TV shows that she wanted to watch at night. But recently we get our evening walks randomly in the week! Wow Wee! It must be that Buttercup was home from work earlier than usual to bring us down walkie walkie together with Mummy! I wish Buttercup doesn't work so hard and come home early every day...

Pet assisted therapy
Long time ago, my Mummy used to bring me to do pet therapy at Dover Park Hospice and Ren Ci Hospital. I must say that I didn't quite enjoy the visits, but I tolerated them. I tensed up whenever Mummy put me on the bed, and I looked the other way when the old folks stroke me. I was so stressed up that my hair begun to thin out on my thighs. So Mummy stopped bringing me to pet therapy.

Deer tendon...exotic treat
Mummy is being adventurous. She gives us deer tendon for chewing. It is not as tough as Kangaroo back bone, and we can chew it faster. Cookie has a chipped molar tooth that contains tartar. Mummy brought her to the vet for teeth cleaning last year, but now the tartar has come back. Mummy is always looking for things for us to chew so that we can clean our teeth. (Cookie was traumatized by the trip to the vet for teeth cleaning, may be she thought Mummy was abandoning her. She cried and cried when Mummy went to fetch her back. Mummy has to stop her van on the road side to calm her down, as she was hysterical!)

My sexy bald chest...
My bald chest started to appear after I was spayed at seven-month old. Mummy has been doing a lot of research to try to make my bald chest hair grow, but in vain. Is it hormone? Food allergy? Thyroid? Cushing's syndrome? Genetic? Vaccination? Heartworm medication? Too much surface contact? Allergy to wet grass? Mummy always applies rosemary infusion to help hair grow. Oh well...

Afternoon delight
Nowadays Mummy always surprises us by coming home in the afternoon for her lunch. I am so delightful! When Mummy is ready to go back to work, we get salmon treats wrapped in little towels. I am very good at untying the knots to get to the salmon.

Search...Game...
Every morning before Mummy goes for work, we will play a search game. Cookie and I will be locked in a dark room for several minutes. When the door opens and Mummy says "search", we will rush to look for the salmon treats. After years of training, I am very good at this search game. I will head for the bathroom, kitchen, bedroom, living room, inside my dog house, under the cushion, on top of sofa, every little corner, behind the door... I think I can do search and rescue, but Mummy says my legs are too short to climb the hills and cross the bushes.
