K9 Kampus Dog Cafe

This is Kimura. He is the birthday boy, one year old. He is the son of Sakura. He is wearing a light blue two-piece tuxedo. Very handsome hor!

Today we went to K9 Kampus at Turf Club Road. The place was converted from a horse stable. It was awesome. We ate lamb meat balls, chicken pie, birthday cake, cheese bone, and lamb leg chew. Burrrrp!! There were about 15 dacshunds gathering for the birtday celebration. There were lots of barking going on in the dog cafe. It was a blast. I have a great time!

The beginning of skin problem

It's April, and the weather is getting hotter and more humid. My skin begins to flake. I have dandruffs! Buttercup showers me thoroughly each week and applies apple cider vinegar on my skin. I am being combed everyday now to get rid of my dandruffs. I hope my daily meal that consists of seaweed and flaxseed oil will help my skin to grow healthy again.... Mummy and Buttercup are very worried.

SPCA Dog Walk April 2008

This morning we arrived at Bishan Dog Run at 8:00 Am for the SPCA Dog Walk. There were about 50 other doggies already there. The whole group of doggies walked for 3 km around Bishan Park. As always, Cookie has to be number ONE. Buttercup and Cookie was the first to reach the end point. I was running behind Cookie, but Mummy was pulling me to slow down!

When we finished the walk, SPCA gave out so many free gifts! It was like Christmas! There were dog bowls, leather leashes, collars, harnesses, T-shirts, doggie beds, doggie houses, apples, and water bottles. Buttercup got us a bright red doggie house. Mummy got a T-shirt.

Pet Cafe

Although my birthday is over, this morning Mummy and Buttercup brought us to Pet Cafe for a treat. We skipped our breakfast at 8 am. I was very hungry. We reached the Pet Cafe at 9 am. Our chicken and rice order came at 9:30 and we chowed down hungrily. Oh boy it was so yummy. We ate everything except the celery branches. We met our friend at the cafe, Dewey. He was a Cocker Spaniel. His Mummy adopted him from SPCA last year. He is a vegetarian. Looks like we will be visiting the Pet Cafe again soon, as the people and doggies there are jolly friendly!

13 April 2008 - My Birthday on Sunday!

I celebrated my five years old birthday yesterday! I woke up late at 12 pm, ate my fruits and yoghurt breakfast. Mummy and Buttercup brought us to Bishan Park for walks. Then we went for late lunch at 3 pm. I ate some unsalted french fries and chicken salad. When we got home, I had a hot shower. After shower I have my steak dinner and Cookie have chicken filet. Yummy! I love my birthday!

Radio FM 95 Dog Walk

This morning we went to Bishan Park II Dog Run to meet with FM 95 DJ Glenn Ong for Dog Walk. We were late for the dog walk, so we just gathered and played with the 400 dogs there. We met Jaffe and Kayle (http://jaffeprt.blogspot.com/) there too! I heard that they will be migrating to Canada end of April 2008.

Mummy and Buttercup each had a free Anderson Ice Cream from Belgium, but none for us. Why? Because Mummy met two very fat jack russel terriers and afraid that Cookie and I will be as fat as they are after eating ice cream.

Swimming in the sea

These photos were taken two years ago at the beach. The water in the sea was gushing. I love swimming in it. They were pretty photos. I also love to sand bath at the beach.

Hanging the dogs using choke chain

I was extremely troubled all day with what I saw during a training session this morning. The doggies were supposed to learn the “stay” command. As usual, they were all leashed with the white coloured training rope, told to sit and stay while their human companions slowly walk away. However some doggies didn’t quite get the idea and started following their human companions. To my horror, their human companions were told by the trainer to lift the doggies off the ground by their necks, legs suspended in the air with choke chain around their necks and drag them back to the spot where they were supposed to remain. There were 3 dachshunds and I saw one dachshund started choking and I could tell that they were all really really so frightened. As for the Lab that didn’t get the idea, it was too big and heavy for its human companion, so it was dragged over the shoulder with hind legs suspended in the air and choke chain round its neck as well.

Mummy shouted to them and asked them to stop hanging the doggies by their necks but they carried on. Buttercup told us that in the human’s world where capital punishment is still being practised, only humans who committed serious crimes like murder, espionage, treason, or rape were hanged in this manner till they choked to their death……. Those poor doggies certainly didn’t commit any serious crime. Hope those human companions will realize that by hanging their doggies, they may cause serious neck injuries to their doggies….

Let’s pray for safety of those doggies and positive reinforcement training method which is the latest thinking in North America and Europe.

Our Potty Place

This is where we do our 'business' at home. We like to call it our newspaper garden. Every month Mummy will be collecting old newspapers from neighbours, relatives, and family members. We used about 5 - 10 KG of newspapers every month. That is a lot of newspapers! Mummy changes the newspapers every morning, every late afternoon, every evening, and every night.

Buttercup and Beijing

Last Saturday Buttercup came back from Beijing, China. We were kind of gotten used to her away for a week business trip. Last October 2007, she went to China for a week as well. This time we were less anxious. We did not wait for her at the door whole night, and we were able to sleep throughout the night. Although we wagged our tails less everytime Buttercup was away, we were able to cope better this time. The house was quiet..... Oh boy were we glad when Buttercup came back! Cookie jumped into the suitcase and sat there, until Buttercup chased her out! This time we did not get any doggy toy or treat.

Sunday Eggs

Every Sunday, after our walk in the park or swim at Sentosa, we get to eat Sunday Eggs. The eggs are submerged in boiled hot water for 8 - 10 min. We love to eat eggs! After our weekly bath, we will station ourselves in the kitchen waiting for the cracking sound of Sunday Eggs.

Tartar Removal

Mummy is using this S$60 per small bottle PetzLife Dental Care Gel to remove tartar on my teeth. Each night Mummy will use a cloth and rub the gel on my teeth. This gel contains wild salmon oil too, so it tastes good. Apparently my teeth is now cleaner, whiter, and my breath smells better too. Some tartar is also removed from my incisor. The product contains only natural ingredients and alcohol to kill the bacteria. Mmh... the natural ingredients are secret, according to the manufacturer.

Vivo City and Sentosa

We went to Vivo City and Sentosa on Sunday, which is the fourth day of Chinese New Year! We seldom get the chance to walk around a shopping centre and enjoying the air-cond during the hot day. Mummy and Buttercup bought us a lot of goodies at the pet store.

At Sentosa, we were leashed up and enjoying swimming at Palawan beach. It was very crowded as this was a long weekend holiday. We shall not go to the beach when it is too crowded again.

Pan, the Jack Russell that bullied me

On the second day of Chinese New Year, we had a visitor, Pan, a female Jack Russell Terrier adopted from SPCA not long ago by a family. She is four years old. She is bigger size than Cookie. When she came over to visit me, she was very dominating. She tried to dominate me. I was very scared of her. I tried to run around and away from her. At one point I couldn't take it already, so I growled at her. She was very fierce! She wanted to bite me! I quickly submitted and turned my belly to her! Mummy was very angry at Pan! Pan's owner said that on Chinese New Year day, Pan just killed a family pet bird! It was bloody!

Looking at scenery...

When we go to hawker centre, Cookie likes to focus on food while I like to look around my surrounding. I like to enjoy the wind, look at scenery, watch the birdie..... and look out for cattie.

Gong Xi Fa Cai.....Hong Bao Na Lai

The Chinese Lunar New Year 2008 is coming on 7 Feb 2008! It is going to be the year of Rats. I love chasing after rats.. When walking at night, I sometimes see rats in the bushes. They say Singapore is green and clean.. really? How come so many rats in the bushes, near the dumpster, around my flats? Wish all my friends Gong Xi Fa Cai.....

Sentosa leash rule

We went to sentosa tanjong beach on sunday. Seems like the leash rule has been relaxed... There are many Jack Russells running free unleashed on the beach near KM8 pub restaurant. I was not leashed and running free as well. From what we experienced, the sentosa leash rule was not consistent. Sometimes must be on leash, sometimes not.

Toughest Sirloin Steak and Lamb Chop

Oh dear, we visited a dog friendly pub restaurant today and Mum and Buttercup had the toughest sirloin steak and lamb chop! The steak was not "well done", but badly done. Mum and Buttercup had the hardest time eating the steak and lamb chop. It's such a pity that the nice place serve such lousy food. Fortunately, the ice cream waffle was the saving grace!

Sembawang Park

Today we went to a new place, Sembawang Park. It is located at the North of Singapore. There is a tiny little beach area where many people camp and fish there. Cookie eaten a rotten shrimp at the beach! It was a small and crowded tiny beach. The water was dirty. It was no fun as we couldn't play fetch. We left the beach and walk to the park. We have a pleasant walk in the park.

Bishan Park Dog Walking

We went to Bishan Park on Sunday. While we were playing fetch ball in the dog run, a six-month old black puppy came. He was very active and oh boy he ran fast. As I don't like it when dogs disturb me while I am playing fetch ball, I barked at the puppy and chased him around.

My Favorite Hiding Place

Whenever I get bones to munch on, I like to hide under the table and chew the bones. Every Thursday is bone-bone day. We get bones to chew on early morning before Mummy leaves for work.

Pasar Malam or Night Bazaar

Last night we all went to pasar malam (night bazaar) opposite our house. Mummy carried me in my doggie bag as it was very crowded and the ground was wet. Many people did not realise that I was in the bag, as only my head was out of the bag. The people were walking right into me, with hands and arms slapping my head. I was a very good girl. If it were Cookie, she would have bitten their hands and arms! Mummy bought gyros, roti john and quail. They smelled so good!

31 Dec 2007 New Year's eve

Can't believe it that today is the last day of 2007! Mummy baked salmon for us to eat. This is my special meal. Every year during Christmas' eve, New Year's eve and Chinese New Year, I get to eat baked salmon. During my birthday I usually get steak. Happy New Year 2008 to every doggy friend out there! Hope those unlucky homeless doggies get a warmth home. I am very lucky to be loved and pampered all year long.

Christmas at the Palawan Beach

Christmas morning we are all packed into the van and headed for Sentosa Palawan Beach! We have a seven-year old boy joining us. He was running around and screaming. I barked at him. At the beach I was hooked on a long leash, as I was not allowed to run freely at the beach anymore. I have a great Christmas!

No More Bloody Stool

Today my stools are no more bloody. They are still soft. Mummy has been feeding me yogurt to fight off the bad bacteria. Guess I won't be seeing a vet after all. I am recovering very well. I would like to wish all my doggie friends a Merry X'mas and Happy New Year 2008. This year has been very good to me. Next year I will be turning five years old in April. I am a grown up now. I stopped chewing my Mummy's stuffs now, no more tearing newspapers, making snow out of toilet rolls, digging potted plants, etc. Mummy has removed all barriers and now I am running free in the house when Mummy goes to work. I am a good girl nowadays!

Bloody Stools

Oh dear.. I have been having tummy upset. My stools are bloody and watery. Mummy is very worried. She has been encouraging me to drink more water in case of dehydration. My bloody stools episode lasted for 12 hours. This morning I feel fine. I am still very much myself, running around, barking and playing. Most importantly I am still as greedy as before. Mummy will observe me for 24 hours before bringing me to the vet tomorrow. What have I eaten? Was it the kangaroo backbones? Was it the bones cutting my intestines?

Raining season in Singapore

It has been raining cats and dogs these few weeks. So instead of walking in the parks, we have been visiting houses. Mummy brings us along whenever she visits friends and family. We stay inside the house to keep warm and away from the rain.

At sentosa, husky bitten a 3-year old girl

We finally get the news at sentosa. There was a husky that has bitten the ear of a three-year old girl. That's why now all dogs must be leashed at sentosa. We are seeing less and less dogs at sentosa now. The dog shower facility is still out of order. Where else in Singapore can I swim freely in the sea?

Big Red Ball and Bishan Dog Run

On Sunday, Mummy brought the big red ball to the bishan dog run for us to play. Cookie was so happy chasing after the ball all through the dog run! As for me, I was barking happily at Cookie. There was a chocolat lab dog playing with us. After a while, Cookie managed to tear the big red ball and it burst! That's the end of our fun.

Ang Mo Kio Town Garden West

On Sunday we went to Ang Mo Kio Town Garden West. We seldom go there. After the morning walk, we went to the Macdonald and sat at the Cafe outside. It was very nice. Our fun was cut short when the staff told Mummy that dogs are not allowed! So we left.

We saw a lot of small, medium and large red balls outside the Macdonald. We went crazy. Cookie was chasing after the balls, and I was barking! That was most fun! I will show you some photos of Cookie playing with red balls in my next post.

Where are my friends?

On Sunday we went to Sentosa Tanjong Beach. But where are all my friends? The beach was deserted! There were a few dogs, but they were all leashed. After talking to a lady, it turned out that last week someone was fined S$300 for not leashing a dog! Oh no! So I was also leashed up. Sigh, Koufu food court is not dog friendly, now the beach is also no longer dog friendly. Also, one of the dog shower area was without any water! What is happening?

Pasir Ris Pet Movers

We went to a new place on Sunday! There were so many doggie smells, I went crazy! We went to the dog run and did agility. It has been so long since Cookie did the agility. But she did not forget her moves! I jumped into the pool and fetched ball. It was a great outing!

Buttercup is back from China!

I am so happy today! I have not been myself for the past few days when Buttercup was not around. I couldn't sleep at night, waiting for Buttercup to come home. I waited at the door, and waited in the bed. I wagged my tail less. But today Buttercup came home! She brought back beef jerky, Kahlua liquor, dried scallop, but not for me. I am jumping for joy! My life is back to normal again.

Sentosa Tanjong Beach dog shower

We went to Tanjong Beach on Sunday. This time the dog shower place was repaired. The drainage was alright. Unlike the last time when the shower place was flooded due to sand blocking the drainage system. Also the tap was repaired, no more dripping of water. But there was a tap that was spoiled. After it was tapped on, it showered without stopping. What a waste of water! Anyway, thank God we can shower at Tanjong Beach, because there was once "No Dog" signs were posted everywhere at the shower area.

Bottle Tree Park at Yishun

We went to a new place called bottle tree park at yishun/kathib on Sunday. It was very hot. The place was not very crowded. Many children were fishing in the ponds. There was not much walking path, so we ended up with nothing much to do there. We spent only a short while checking out the place.

Later we went to our old favourite place, the Bishan park II. We met over 20 plus dogs in the dog run! I get to run off-leash with Jaffe and Kylie in the dog run. As Cookie is a naughty doggie, she was leashed by Butter Cup in the dog run. We have a great time!

Bishan Park I

We went to Bishan Park I last saturday. The last time we went there was a year ago. This time, the coffee shop was no longer in operation. So sad. We got nothing to eat. It was drizzling in the morning, so we sat around the empty coffee shop. An hour passed by quickly and we set out home, wet, cold and hungry.

On Sunday, it was raining heavily in the morning. We only get a short walk along the covered walk-way around the neighbourhood.

Mummy spent the next three weekdays with us, walking us in the morning and evening everyday. I love it when Mummy is on leave!

Crow that stole sausage

We all walked to Chomp Chomp on Sunday morning. We ate breakfast alfresco style at Coffee Bean & Tea Leaves. A big black crow suddenly flew down and grabbed a sausage with its beak. The crow stole a sausage from our table!

Later in the evening, we all went to visit granny. The place where we ate has many cats. I was very excited. There was a rat nearby making "chip chip" sound. It was a long day and when we got home, I was beat!

The new van has arrived!

We all went to sentosa on Sunday in the new van. It was very cool. Later we went to Koufu for lunch. But sadly we noticed there was a "no dog" sign at the Koufu. We ignored it and ate our lunch. Sentosa is no longer dog-friendly. When we were at the beach, the beach patrol distributed flyers stating that all dogs must be leashed.

Smoked Turkey Neck

Buttons and Ninja's Mummy visiting Singapore from Australia! She brings us lots of goodies! Smoked turkey neck, kangaroo back bones, pork bone, lamb lungs, and a doggie carrier. We love her lots. Buttons and Ninja have migrated to Australia for a year now. We miss them.

Pets on MRT/Trains

It would be wonderful if I am allowed on the MRT/Trains in Singapore, like in the first world countries. Mummy will then bring me all over Singapore on MRT ! I will be with Mummy all the time! Great! All dog lovers please vote "yes" in the below LTA survey!

Scramble eggs

We all walked to Chomp Chomp again this Sunday. This time we ate at Coffee Bean & Tea Leaves alfresco style. It was very windy. We saw black crows flying onto tables to gather left over foods. Mummy gave us scramble eggs! Yummy.

A new Van...

Mummy has bought a new Van for us! The new Van will deliver in end of August. I am so excited. We can now go to Sentosa, Pasir Ris Park, Bishan Park, West Coast Park, East Coast Park, Botanic Gardens, and everywhere... Happy happy. If only dogs are allowed on the MRT/Trains and buses in Singapore, Mummy will have no need to buy a van for us!

Cookie is eight years old this month

My best buddy, Cookie, is turning eight years old this month in August 2007! She is still very playful and active for her age. She is a jack russell terrier, what do you expect. Happy Birthday Cookie!

Wet days

During wet days, when it was raining heavily, we will rest at home. We love to sit on the triangles. Mummy and Butter Cup also like to sit on the triangles to read newspaper. But most of the time we get to sit on the triangles.

Curious

I am a very curious doggie. Every time I go walkie walkie, I am very excited and curious about my surroundings. I am very alert too. If I hear any funny noises, I will poke my head up and listen to the sound. I am always hunting for catty when I go walking.

Chomp Chomp at Serangoon

On some Sundays, when the weather is not too hot, Mummy, Buttercup, Cookie and I will walk to Chomp Chomp in Serangoon for breakfast. Chomp Chomp is a hip hang out place in Singapore. We will eat breakfast in alfresco style! Sometimes we will get to eat the sunny side-up egg. Other times we will visit the pet store for freeze-dried lamb lungs! Yum Yum. I always enjoy hanging out at Chomp Chomp.

Cockroach Buster

Last night at 1:30am, while mummy was sleeping soundly, Cookie and I were busy chasing after a cockroach in the house. We cornered the cockroach in the bathroom. Mummy got up and looked at what we were doing. She rolled up a newspaper and bang onto the cockroach until it was squashed! We were very excited! All this while, Buttercup was shivering at a corner.

Senile homeless man

This sunday while we were relaxing on a bench in a public area, a senile homeless man came scolding and screaming at us for sitting on 'his' bench. I suppose he sleeps there! Cookie and I were growling and barking at him. We know he is a bad guy!

Sunday was 'Walk with your dog' day organized by SPCA and HPB (Health Promotion Board) at Bishan dog run. I met many many doggie friends. After the walk I was very thirsty. So I drank lots and lots of water. Later on we went into the dog run area. Butter cup stepped on a pool of dog poo! We have to stop our fun, as Butter cup has to wash off the dog poo. Nowadays the Bishan dog run is full of dog poo! Just when we were leaving the dog run, we saw another pile of big pool of dog poo. Please be considerate, dog owners!

Apple Cider Vinegar

I got dandruff! Mummy has been combing me daily to get rid of all the dandruff. She has even tried human dandruff shampoo, PHYTON, which she got from Guardian store, on me. But my dandruff is not going away. Recently she used apple cider vinegar on me after shower. Seems like my dandruff is going away. Hurray!

Lamb ear from USA

Mummy got a friend who bought us lamb ears from USA costing US$0.49 each ear. I don't quite fancy it. Mummy has to 'force feed' me with the lamb ear, and I entertain her by chewing a little bit of the ear. Cookie, on the other hand, loves the lamb ear. She finishes an ear within 5 minutes. Mummy found the lamb ear selling for S$2.00 per ear at pet's store in Singapore.

Moo Moo the JRT at Sentosa

We were at Sentosa again yesterday. It was very crowded as it is June school holidays. Children were running around and screaming. As i was guarding my territory, some young children keep running to my territory, and I barked at them to scare them away!

I met my old friend Moo Moo the JRT. We hang out together. Moo Moo's right hind leg is in trouble. She likes to walk on three legs. Poor Moo Moo.

Met Harry, the giant JRT!

We went to sentosa again on Sunday. This time, we met a new friend, Harry. He was very huge for a JRT! Double the size of Cookie. He was very nice. He swam towards me while I was playing my 'fetch the catty' game. I don't like other dogs to come and disturb me when I am playing the fetch game. There was also a JRT club gathering. We met a bunch of JRTs running around at the beach. It was fun!

'Ah Fat' the JRT at Sentosa

I have made a new friend, 'Ah Fat', at sentosa yesterday! Ah Fat and her lady owner can be spotted at Tanjong Beach daily for a swim. A Fat is a JRT and she is seven years old. A Fat is able to jump from the rocks into the water and swim for long distance. She is also able to stay on a surfing board and surf! A Fat is very cool. She is also very possessive of her lady owner. A Fat even knows how to grab a hold of the surfing board and drag it back to the shore! She is the smartest dog I know!

Being carried

On the Sunday, Mummy walked me to the Bishan Park. A lady approached us, and suddenly she carried me up into her arms. I wriggled and struggled. But she hold onto me tightly. I don't like strangers to carry me.

The other Sunday when we all went to Sentosa, a guy hold me up into the air. I wriggled my bottom. Mummy was very concerned that I may hurt my back. She only allows people to carry me if they hold my lower body, as I have very long body.

My birthday today, 13 April

Today is my birthday. I am four years old. I heard from the grape-vine Mummy is going to cook beef steak for me for tonight dinner! Yummy! I am sure I will get lots of treats too!

Class 95FM gathering

Sunday we were all out to Bishan Park for the Class 95FM radio gathering. There were approximately 350 dogs gathered together for the event. Cookie was behaving very well. Even with children running around her, she stayed calm. Mummy was very proud of Cookie! We ate the yummy cakes and doggie cookies. We met sakura, didi and guai guai three mini-daschunds. They were so cute!

Adventure around my neighbourhood

It's the weekend again. Buttercup and Mummy like to walk Cookie and I during weekend around the neighbourhood for an hour. We like to explore new places. On this particular Sunday morning, we discovered a new walk-way! There is this very long over-head bridge around the neighbourhood that brings us to some landed properties. I am very happy whenever we explore new places to hunt!

Hurray to weekday evening walk

Yesterday I got a special treat to long evening walk! Normally during weekday, as Mummy got to work, I only get 10 minutes evening walks. But yesterday was special, Buttercup and Mummy walked Cookie and I for more than half an hour during evening. Hurray to that!

Chewed balls.

These two balls contain treats (kangaroo dried meat). I chewed them until the treats came out! They are now broken toys!

My new clothes for Chinese New Year !

It is Chinese Lunar New Year. Mummy let me wear my new clothes for photo taking. I don't think I like to wear any clothes. So Mummy took it off after taking my photos with it!

Chinese Lunar New Year 2007!

Oh, it's Lunar Chinese New Year! The Dog year is ending, now is the PIG year! Mummy bought a mountain of mandarin orange. But Mummy said I can not eat citrus fruits. Oh well. Wishing all my doggie friends happy Chinese New Year! Gong Xi Fa Cai!

Valentine's Day Flower

On valentine's day, mummy got a bunch of flowers! It's beautiful. Happy valentine's day to all my doggies friends out there!

Apple cider vinegar

I am having itchy spots at my butts. So I bite the spots and now they are going bald. Mummy puts apple cider vinegar for me, and my itch is gone. Now the spots have grown fur and no longer bald. Apple cider vinegar is good! (Although it smells sourish and yiaky!).

Organic Food

Mummy has been bringing us to the Organic Restaurant at Bishan Park. We get to eat organic pasta, brown rice, wheat bread, etc. Yummy Yummy! What a good way to start the new year 2007!

Taiwan Earthquake

Oh no, the Taiwan earthquake has knocked off the internet access. I am unable to read my doggie friends blogs for days. Today finally I am able to go online again. Wish everyone happy new year 2007! Let us have peace to the world!

Flooding

It has been raining continuously for the past 24 hours! The Bishan Park that I always go to play is now flooded. I have not been going out for my walkie walkie due to the rain. I heard in USA there are snow storms somewhere! How scary! I may be getting flu too, as I have been sneezing.

Last night we have a rain storm. Mummy's plants were all blown to the ground! Huge noises. I was very scared! I ran around all over the house, frantically! Buttercup went out to pick up the mess and came back into the house all drenched!

Alone

Mummy is trying to train me to be alone in the house. You see, I am rarely left alone. I always have Cookie to play with since I was young. So I hate to be alone. Nowadays, Mummy first brings me to walkie walkie in the morning. Then Mummy will bring Cookie out to walkie walkie, leaving me alone at home. But I hate it. I bark and whine until Mummy and Cookie come home!

Visitor from Germany!

We have a visitor from Germany, she is Auntie Isa. Auntie Isa loves us. She plays with us whole morning and at night. At first cookie didn't like her, but later on, they become buddies. X'mas is nearing, I am looking forward to my new toys and treats! Merry X'mas to you all!

Moving furniture around

Mummy has been trying out new furniture layout in the house. This changing of furniture is giving me anxiety. So after Mummy changed the house furniture configuration, I started to bite the furniture and messed up the house again!

Singapore Taxis and dogs

Mummy has sold away the van. Now we have to take taxi when we go to the beach at sentosa. This weekend, we have to wait for a long long time, and several empty taxis drove passed us and refused to take us. Oh, it is now very inconvenient for us to go far far away places. Singapore taxi drivers are also not very friendly to dogs! Mummy always carry us in doggy bags when we ride taxi.

Red Ball and Me...

This is my favorite red ball! The haze is pretty bad again this weekend. Mummy brought me to the park to play anyway, as I need my exercises! I love to play fetch !

Quarantine in Perth

My friends Buttons and Ninja are now in Perth, Australia. They have to be in quarantine for a month. They told me that everyday they get to run in a large field for one hour. Their daddy comes visit them everyday during the weekday. During weekend there is no visitation. Buttons and Ninja, you please take care in Perth! Adios, my friends....

Hazey index at 150!

Oh my it was so hot outside over the weekend! I was so thirsty. Mummy walked me outside for just a little while. The sky was so hazey. The haze index has shot pass 150, very unhealthy to go outdoor!

Hazey weather...

This week the haze is pretty bad. The sky looks very hazy. The haze index is between 60 to 100 (unhealthy level). The Indonesia forest is burning again, and the wind blows the smoke to Singapore. Mummy decided not to bring us to the beach. It is not healthy to go outdoor too much at this kind of hazey weather.

Saigon...Vietnam

Mummy and Buttercup travelled to Saigon, Vietnam last weekend. Cookie and me went to stay over with our doggie friends Ninja and Buttons. Mummy kept telling me that the Vietnam war was horrible. I am glad we are safe in Singapore! God bless Singapore. Amen.

Lobster for treats

Last night mummy has a lobster dinner. She packed some lobster and shrimp back for me and Cookie! Mmh yummy, we seldom have seafood treats. God bless mummy!

Sand gets into my eyes

After the beach, my left eyes were filled with sand. I kept it closed the whole time and tearing. Mummy tried to wash it with water. My eye was very red! Eyebright tea leaves were boiled and used to clean my eyes. (Eyebright is an attractive weed that grows in fields and meadow areas of most temperate climate regions of the world.) I was tearing whole night. But this morning when I woke up, the sand was gone. And I can open my eye again!

Raining and flooding...

We were at sentosa again on Sunday. It was raining so heavily. After my mummy parked the van at Dolphin Lagoon, we stayed in the van for a while to wait out on the rain. Mummy opened the van and noticed that the water was very high. The water almost covered the wheels. Buttercup screamed:" Let's get out of here! It's flooding!". Mummy straight away turn on the engine, broom broom, and we were out of there! Buttercup has saved us all from the flood! Mummy went to park at the Beach Carpark, which was dry. After a while the rain stopped and we have a great day at the beach!
